2010 Imagination Power Art Contest Winners

11/5/2009

The results are in and the JCPB has selected thirteen art submissions from local elementary students to be used in this coming year’s edition of the Imagination Power calendar. This 2nd annual calendar art contest gives our local elementary students an opportunity to express their artistic abilities while engaging in a dialogue on renewable energy sources and sustainable lifestyles. This year, the JCPB offered the added incentive of a classroom supply of JCPB Special Edition KitBooks promised to the school with the greatest number of entries.

With a whopping 386 entries, Mountain View Elementary of Johnson City Schools took this year’s prize. The JCPB is thrilled to be able to offer this unique learning tool to our local students. KitBooks offer a unique and effective solution for teaching children the intricacies of electrical circuitry and are the brainchild of one of Johnson City’s very own entrepreneurs.

Congratulations to Mountain View Elementary and the young artists listed below! You may view their artwork by clicking on the following link: 2010 Imagination Power Calendar.
